Job Description
The company is looking for a Surveyor to join their Rail & System construction project in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This role involves making precise measurements to gather data on structures and rails, crucial for construction.
In this position, you'll be responsible for maintaining control networks, ensuring equipment is calibrated, and interpreting construction drawings. You'll use tools like Leica Total Stations and Trolley systems to lay out track alignments and verify accuracy, calculating key characteristics of structures. Collaboration with project engineers and the survey team will be essential for timely information sharing and problem-solving.
The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in Surveying or Geomatics, at least three years of construction surveying experience, and strong computer skills. Proficiency with GPS and Total Stations is required, along with a valid driver's license.
