Job Description
A Land Surveyor with experience in wet utilities and micro tunneling is needed in Dubai. This role involves conducting field surveys, performing geodetic calculations, and ensuring project survey requirements are met on time and within budget. You'll be responsible for checking setting-out and levels, verifying service locations, and preparing sketches to support field work.
The position also requires maintaining survey information, assisting engineers with shop drawing verification, and checking control points and benchmarks. You will also be involved in recording levels, verifying earthwork cross-sections, and taking measurements of inspected works. Contributing to the preparation and review of 'as-built' drawings and actively participating in health and safety initiatives are also key aspects of this role.
To be successful, you'll need a Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying, with at least five years of construction and supervision experience in infrastructure projects, specifically wet utilities and micro tunneling. Proficiency with survey equipment like total stations and levels, along with working knowledge of MicroStation and AutoCAD, is essential. Good communication skills and recent UAE work experience, particularly in Dubai, are also required.
