Job Description
This role is for a Senior Technician in Dam and Concrete Structure Design, based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The company is looking for someone with a strong background in the design, inspection, and construction of concrete structures for dams, spillways, and hydroelectric power plants. You'll be working on significant projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and providing technical support both in the office and on-site.
Your responsibilities will include supporting engineers with design and detailing, preparing technical drawings using CAD software, and conducting site inspections and quality control during construction and rehabilitation. You'll also contribute to technical reports and mentor junior technicians. This position requires a DEC or technical diploma in civil engineering technology, at least 10 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in CAD software.
