Job Description
This company in Laval, Quebec, is looking for a BIM Technician to join their team. You'll be working on significant industrial projects, contributing to the design and modeling of complex installations for the mining and industrial sectors. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative technical solutions.
You will use CAD/DAO tools to produce drawings, plans, and diagrams based on engineering data and specifications. Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to production standards, creating 3D models, assisting engineers with routine calculations, and occasionally visiting sites for data collection. You'll also manage project documentation and participate in design team meetings.
The ideal candidate has a DEC in mechanical engineering or a professional qualification in industrial design, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Plan 3D, Inventor, and Revit is required. Strong communication skills and bilingualism (French and English) are essential for this role.
