The company is looking for a 3D Designer Technician for the mining industry in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada. This role involves creating mechanical and structural drawings based on client needs and specifications, developing 2D and 3D schematics, and acting as the main point of contact for the 3D model, integrating designs from all disciplines. You will also be responsible for interdisciplinary coordination and collaborating with mechanical engineers and project managers. The ideal candidate will have a DEP in industrial design or a DEC in mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Inventor, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, and Autodesk Construction Cloud is required. Strong communication skills in French and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential, along with an analytical mindset, autonomy, and rigor.
