The company is looking for a 3D Designer Technician for the mining industry in Val-d’Or, Quebec, Canada. This role involves taking client needs and tender documents to create mechanical or structural drawings, developing 2D or 3D schematics, and acting as the main point of contact for the 3D model, integrating designs from all disciplines. You will be responsible for interdisciplinary coordination, collaborating with mechanical engineers and project managers, and validating necessary clearances based on selected equipment. The position also requires archiving drawings according to specific nomenclature and providing technical support to clients. The ideal candidate will have a DEP in industrial design or a DEC in mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Inventor, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, and Autodesk Construction Cloud is essential, along with strong French communication and teamwork skills, analytical thinking, autonomy, and rigor.
