Job Description
The company is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Technologist to join their team in Ottawa, Ontario. This is a new role where you'll be working on a variety of projects, including transit, municipal, commercial, and institutional buildings.
Your day-to-day will involve creating 3D BIM models and drawings for mechanical systems, assisting with engineering calculations, and coordinating with other disciplines. You'll also support the preparation of specifications and project documentation, ensuring everything meets quality and code requirements.
This position requires proficiency in 3D Revit/BIM drafting and at least four years of relevant experience. Familiarity with AutoCAD and relevant building codes and standards would be beneficial.
