Job Description
This company is looking for a BIM Technician to join their VDC team. You'll be working on significant construction projects in the region, focusing on advanced 3D modeling and creating shop drawings for prefabrication and installation. This role involves close coordination with project managers, vendors, engineers, and field staff, using software like Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
You'll be involved in developing BIM strategies, coordinating models up to LOD 500, and resolving clashes with other trades. The position also requires collaboration with field personnel, including site surveys, and contributing to documentation and continuous improvement within the department. A background in electrical construction and proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office are also important.
