This company is looking for a BIM Technician to join their team in Greenville, South Carolina. You'll be responsible for creating design models, including coordination, shop drawings, and as-builts. This involves assisting with system design, modeling content, and coordinating with other trades to ensure everything fits together smoothly. You'll need to be proficient in Revit and have a good understanding of electrical codes and contract documents. The role also involves preparing sketches, reading one-lines and panel schedules, and working with site foremen to translate models into the built environment. You'll also review construction drawings for conflicts and code compliance, and collaborate with the project management team to resolve issues. This position requires someone detail-oriented with strong computer skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. You should be comfortable working with point cloud files for as-built conditions and have excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers.
