Job Description
This company is looking for a Senior Structural Technician to join their team in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. You'll be working on diverse industrial projects, collaborating with a structural team to develop construction details for concrete, steel, or wood structures. This role offers flexibility with options for full-time in-office, hybrid, or remote work.
You will be involved in project coordination meetings, contributing to design principles, and using your initiative to solve complex engineering problems. Your day-to-day will include 3D modeling with Revit and 2D drafting with AutoCAD, preparing plans for major clients, and working collaboratively with engineers and other professionals. The role also involves site visits for surveys and inspections, as well as providing technical support from the office.
The ideal candidate has a DEC in Civil Engineering, 15 years of experience in industrial structure design, and strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit. Experience with BIM processes, Navisworks, and site supervision are considered assets.
