This role is for a BIM/VDC Coordinator focused on HVAC ductwork, joining a rapidly growing MEP contractor in Fort Myers, Florida. The position involves leading the creation and coordination of accurate BIM models for mechanical systems, ensuring they are constructible and meet project standards. You'll be responsible for clash detection, resolving conflicts with other trades, and preparing model-based deliverables for fabrication and installation. This role also includes mentoring junior detailers and contributing to process improvements. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of BIM/VDC experience, proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, and a solid understanding of mechanical construction practices. Experience with common CDE platforms like BIM 360/ACC is also expected.
