Job Description
This company is looking for a Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Specialist to join their team in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. You'll be working on institutional, commercial, and industrial projects, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure design models are ready for construction.
Your role will involve using VDC software to coordinate project deliverables, conduct BIM coordination meetings, and track action items. You'll also help assess model accuracy, prepare quantity variance reports, and work with the operations team to align BIM coordination with the project schedule.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field with at least 4 years of experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in BIM software like Revit, Revizto, and Autodesk Construction Cloud. Familiarity with animation software and reality capture data is also beneficial.
