Job Description
The company is looking for an Electrical BIM Detailer/VDC Engineer in Austin, Texas. This role is part of the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) group, working to enhance project delivery through Building Information Modeling (BIM).
The main focus will be on creating and coordinating detailed fabrication models for electrical work, supporting 3D trade coordination, and assisting with site logistics and sequencing. You'll also be involved in model-based design coordination meetings and helping to integrate BIM data with field operations.
This position requires strong technical skills in Autodesk software like Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, along with a solid understanding of BIM concepts and coordination processes. Experience with BIM 360 products and the ability to train others are also important.
