Job Description
The company is looking for an Electrical CAD Technician to join their team in Chesterfield, Missouri. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented who enjoys supporting complex engineering projects from start to finish. You will collaborate with designers, engineers, and project managers to create and update essential substation drawings, ensuring multiple projects remain organized and accurate.
Your day-to-day will involve creating and revising technical drawings for electrical substations, preparing new drawings based on instructions, and maintaining up-to-date engineering documents. You'll also coordinate drafting across various projects and utilize drafting and data management software daily, adhering to industry standards.
To be successful, you'll need an Associate's degree in a CAD-related program or a specialized CAD certification, along with at least two years of drafting experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, are essential. Excellent communication and organizational skills are also key.
