Job Description
This company is looking for a Cad Support Specialist to join their team in Canada. You'll be instrumental in creating detailed documentation packages for high-quality printed circuit board designs. This involves executing component placement and routing, ensuring everything aligns with electrical, mechanical, and thermal requirements.
You'll work closely with various engineering teams to tackle any design challenges that arise. A key part of the role is verifying layouts using ODB++ and making sure designs are compliant with DFM standards. Proficiency in Cadence Allegro and other PCB CAD tools is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Technology or CAD, with at least five years of PCB layout experience. Strong organizational skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to thrive in a team setting are important. You should also have a solid understanding of PCB design processes, including high-speed routing, impedance control, and manufacturability.
