Job Description
The company is looking for a Project Engineer to join their team in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This role involves working on airport and municipal infrastructure projects, supporting the design and delivery of airfield and groundside infrastructure. You'll be preparing engineering designs, conducting site visits, and assisting with project management and contract administration.
Your day-to-day will include preparing proposals, business development related to airfield infrastructure, and contributing to the planning and design of projects. You'll also be involved in research for design challenges and assisting with project management duties like budget updates and site inspections.
To be successful, you should have experience in civil engineering design or project engineering, with a knack for anticipating problems. A Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training designation with at least five years of relevant experience is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office is essential, along with strong communication and report writing skills.
