The company is looking for a Transportation Planner/Traffic Engineer to join their team in Markham, Ontario. This role involves working on a variety of large-scale transportation projects, from initial planning and policy advice through to detailed design and construction administration. You'll be contributing to projects involving highways, roads, bridges, transit, and active transportation. In this position, you will have the opportunity to coordinate work across different disciplines, develop client relationships, and prepare technical reports and proposals. You'll also be involved in analyzing land use, demographic, and travel data, assessing transportation impacts of developments, and developing concept designs for road improvements and active transportation. Experience with traffic modeling software like Synchro, Sidra, or Vissim would be beneficial. This role offers a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days a week in the office.
