Job Description
The company is looking for a Site Engineer to oversee structural concrete and finishing works in Cairo, Egypt. This role involves ensuring that all on-site activities strictly adhere to approved drawings, technical specifications, and project timelines. You'll be coordinating daily tasks with consultants, subcontractors, and your site teams, while also reviewing essential documents like shop drawings and material submittals.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring project progress, productivity, and resource allocation, and preparing regular progress reports. A key part of the job is ensuring quality control procedures are followed and that all health, safety, and environmental regulations are enforced. You'll also be responsible for resolving technical issues that arise on site and participating in inspections and project handovers.
To be successful in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 3-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, with a strong background in concrete and finishing works. Experience with residential, resort, or coastal projects is a significant advantage. You should have a solid understanding of construction methods and materials, be adept at managing subcontractors, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
