Job Description
The company is looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical works for their projects. This role involves ensuring all installations are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget, adhering to the company's management system.
The job requires hands-on experience with a wide range of electrical equipment, including switchboards, motors, generators, and various systems like navigation, communication, and fire detection. You'll be responsible for installing power and control cables, terminations, cable trays, and conduits, as well as troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment.
A technical engineering diploma or higher is needed, along with prior ship repair or shipyard experience. Skills in troubleshooting electrical equipment and understanding cable specifications are essential. While TBOSIET and H2S certifications are preferred, confined space training is also important.
