Job Description
This role is for an experienced Instrumentation & Automation Engineer to join a team working on Oil & Gas projects in Abu Dhabi. You'll be involved in the full lifecycle of projects, from detailed engineering and design through to construction, commissioning, and startup.
Your work will involve reviewing and coordinating a wide range of technical documentation from vendors and consultants, ensuring that control systems, field instruments, and interfaces between electrical and automation systems meet project specifications. You'll also be on-site, supervising construction activities and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant engineering field and 6-8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector, specifically with systems like ABB, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Rockwell, PLC, DCS, ICSS, and SCADA. Experience with Modbus, OPC, and various field instruments is essential.
