Job Description
This company is looking for a Site Engineer specializing in steel structures to join their Project Execution team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. You'll be supporting the Site Manager with the mechanical installation and commissioning of equipment, guiding subcontractors on best practices, and coordinating with other departments for necessary tools and materials.
Your role will involve supervising the installation of steel works, preparing work packages for site teams, and contributing to future projects by sharing lessons learned. You'll also monitor site progress, assist the quality team with inspections and handovers, and work with engineering teams to identify and prevent potential risks and defects.
To be successful, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least five years of experience in steel structure practices within industrial automation, particularly in baggage or material handling systems. You should be comfortable working on projects across Saudi Arabia and possess strong knowledge of mechanical design and installation. Good communication skills are essential for engaging with various stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
