Job Description
The company is looking for a Technical Engineer specializing in MEP to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves diving deep into MEP drawings and specifications, offering crucial technical guidance to project teams, and working closely with consultants and subcontractors. The main goal is to ensure all MEP works align perfectly with project requirements, industry standards, and local regulations.
You'll be preparing essential technical documents like submittals and method statements, and resolving any design or site-related technical challenges that arise. A key part of the job is also supporting procurement by reviewing technical submissions and material choices, all while keeping project teams aligned for smooth and timely execution of MEP works.
To be successful, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and at least five years of experience in MEP construction, ideally within the UAE or GCC. A solid understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems, along with familiarity with local authority regulations and international standards, is essential. You must currently be based in the UAE.
