Job Description
This role is for an Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of electrical systems within facilities. You'll be providing technical expertise, overseeing maintenance activities, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. The position involves supporting both planned and reactive maintenance, monitoring energy usage, and making sure everything aligns with safety and quality standards.
You'll also be supervising a team of technicians and service providers, ensuring work is done to a high standard and coordinating effectively with clients. This includes preparing cost estimates, planning schedules, and assessing the need for major repairs. A key part of the job is developing and implementing solutions to improve operational efficiency, cost savings, and energy conservation, all while maintaining a safe working environment.
The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of experience in electrical systems operation and maintenance, with a strong background in troubleshooting and technical supervision. Experience in facilities management or building maintenance would be beneficial, as would a solid understanding of electrical drawings, safety regulations, and contract requirements.
