Job Description
The company is looking for a Project Engineer to manage energy efficiency and HVAC retrofit projects in the United Arab Emirates. This role involves overseeing projects from initial design through to handover, ensuring they meet schedule, safety, and quality requirements. You'll be reviewing engineering designs, P&IDs, and commissioning plans, and providing hands-on supervision during installation, testing, and commissioning on site.
Your responsibilities will also include supporting procurement processes, evaluating bids, and assisting with tender clarifications. You'll be expected to prepare progress reports, maintain project documentation, and share your knowledge with the team. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Energy, or a related engineering field is required, along with at least three years of experience in district cooling, central utilities, or HVAC energy retrofit projects.
Key technical skills include experience with full project lifecycles, IPMVP for measurement and verification, and data analytics. A PMP certification is essential, and CEM or CMVP certifications are highly desirable. Proficiency with engineering software and a strong understanding of energy codes and standards are also important. If you're ready to take on a challenging role in energy efficiency, this could be your next step.
