Job Description
The company is seeking experienced Electrical Primary Design Engineers to join their Dubai Design Hub. This role focuses on engineering and designing High Voltage (HV) and Extra High Voltage (EHV) substations for power projects across the Middle East and Africa.
You'll be responsible for the primary and detailed electrical design of substations, including creating single line diagrams, layouts, and earthing systems. This involves performing engineering calculations, selecting major HV equipment, and preparing technical specifications. You will also review vendor documents and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in HV/EHV substation primary design, particularly with 132kV and above. Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical engineering software like ETAP is essential, along with a strong understanding of relevant international standards.
