Job Description
The company is looking for a Mechanical Handling Engineer to join their team in Kwai Tsing District, Hong Kong. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders to implement crane and hoist lifting solutions for environmental projects. You'll be responsible for planning, designing, and managing these projects, including creating lift plans, performing structural steel calculations, and ensuring compliance with specifications.
Your duties will also include preparing project documentation, method statements, and testing reports. You'll monitor site progress and assist the Project Manager with tender preparation, analysis, negotiation, and budget control. Additionally, you'll handle project administration and resolve site-related issues.
To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Mechanical or a related Engineering discipline and at least three years of relevant experience, ideally with hoists, cranes, or lifting appliances. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project, along with strong English and Chinese communication skills, is essential.
