The company is looking for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer/Technologist to join their team in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. This role involves supporting electrical engineering designs, primarily for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and lift stations. You'll be preparing detailed design documents, including calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications, with a focus on electrical power systems up to 750V. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and site assessments will also be key parts of the job. To be successful, you should have experience with industrial power systems, standby generators, PLC and controls systems, and instrumentation equipment. A strong understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code and relevant industry standards is essential, along with at least 5 years of experience in the municipal water and wastewater industry or industrial facilities. A relevant degree or diploma, along with APEGA or ASET registration and P.Eng or P.Tech.(Eng.) certification, is required.
