Job Description
The company is looking for a Senior Light Current Engineer to join their team in Cairo, Egypt. This role involves designing and reviewing shop drawings, schematics, and technical specifications for various low-current systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, structured cabling, PAVA, and BMS.
You'll be responsible for overseeing on-site installation, tracking progress, and coordinating with subcontractors. A key part of the job is conducting system readiness checks, integrated testing, and final project handovers, ensuring everything aligns with both local and international standards like NFPA and IEC, as well as other building trades.
To be successful, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communications Engineering, with 5 to 10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a senior technical role. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP is essential, along with familiarity with relevant calculation or network tools.
