Job Description
The company is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This role involves two key responsibilities: designing electrical systems for projects where the company acts as the consultant, and reviewing and critiquing drawings from other consultants when working on Project Management Consultancy (PMC) projects.
The day-to-day work will include performing load calculations, creating Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), developing panel schedules, and handling cable sizing, lighting, earthing, and Lightning Protection Systems (LPS). A significant part of the role also involves reviewing consultant drawings and vendor submittals, identifying any issues, and providing clear feedback. Effective coordination with structural and architectural elements to prevent site problems is also crucial.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in building electrical design, holding a B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. A strong understanding of NBC, IS codes, and CEA regulations is required, along with proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience with Revit MEP is considered a strong advantage. The ideal candidate will be based in Hyderabad and comfortable with site visits.
