Job Description
The company is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join their growing team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a new role focused on supporting a global AEC firm, with a particular emphasis on public and federal projects. A security clearance will be required for this position.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing mechanical building systems, ensuring they integrate with architectural designs and meet all relevant codes and regulations. You'll be involved in creating construction drawings, performing engineering calculations, researching materials and systems, and evaluating site conditions. You'll also attend client meetings, manage project scope changes, and write engineering specifications. A key part of the job will be reviewing project deliverables to ensure they align with project documents and quality standards.
To be successful, you should have 10-15 years of experience in mechanical building systems consulting engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP is essential, along with a strong understanding of local building codes and a proven project portfolio. While not mandatory, being registered with a professional engineering association would be an asset.
