Job Description
The company is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This role is crucial for powering a national AI Fabric program, focusing on designing and shaping the electrical infrastructure for advanced data centres. You'll be working with cutting-edge technology to support massive GPU clusters and mission-critical AI workloads.
Your responsibilities will include leading the design and optimization of electrical systems for data centres, developing key electrical diagrams and load calculations, and evaluating power distribution, UPS systems, and generators. You'll collaborate with various teams to ensure designs meet performance and safety requirements, and contribute to long-term infrastructure planning for emerging compute workloads.
To be successful, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5-10 years of experience in electrical design for mission-critical facilities. Proficiency with design tools like AutoCAD or Revit, along with strong analytical and communication skills, is essential. Familiarity with high-density environments and relevant codes and standards will be a significant asset.
