Job Description
This company is looking for a Building Mechanical Engineer with a focus on fire protection design. You'll be responsible for understanding client needs and coordinating projects from start to finish. This involves creating mechanical plans and specifications for fire protection systems, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and managers.
Your role will also include conducting site surveys, preparing technical reports, estimating costs, and collaborating with architects and the design team to ensure seamless project integration. You'll also contribute to studies and reports, ensuring quality control, and may be involved in site supervision and reviewing shop drawings. Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and controls is a plus.
To be successful, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in building mechanical systems, specifically fire protection. Proficiency in French, AutoCAD, and Revit are important, as is the ability to work autonomously and manage your time effectively within a team.
