Job Description
This company is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. You'll be working on a significant national AI Fabric program, focusing on designing and shaping the electrical infrastructure for advanced data centers. This is a chance to work on cutting-edge technology that will support massive GPU clusters and critical AI workloads.
Your role will involve leading the design and review of electrical systems for new data center builds and expansions. You'll be responsible for developing key electrical system diagrams, performing load calculations, and planning power distribution, including switchgear, UPS systems, and generators. Collaboration with architects, mechanical engineers, and facility operations teams will be essential to ensure designs meet all performance and safety requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5-10 years of experience in electrical design for mission-critical facilities. Proficiency with design tools like AutoCAD or Revit, along with a strong understanding of power distribution and emergency systems, is required. Experience with high-density environments and AI compute is a plus.
