Job Description
The company is looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join their Engineering team in Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada. This role involves designing electrical systems for data center infrastructure, including high, medium, and low voltage distribution, switchgear, UPS systems, and generators. You'll also be responsible for load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and coordinating with utility providers.
You'll need a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5-12 years of experience in electrical design or installations for critical facilities. A strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEEE standards is essential, as is familiarity with redundancy strategies and EPMS/BMS systems. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and FAT/SAT testing is also required. This position involves frequent travel to the United States.
