The company is looking for an M&E Engineer to join their team in Simpang Ampat, Penang, Malaysia. This role involves overseeing the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on-site, ensuring everything meets quality and safety standards. You'll be coordinating testing and commissioning, working with different teams to resolve any clashes, and liaising with consultants and local authorities to ensure compliance with all regulations. You'll also assist with project administration tasks like managing variations and claims, and maintaining project documentation. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant engineering field and at least five years of experience in building construction, with a solid understanding of ACMV, fire protection, electrical, and ELV systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project is required, and BIM knowledge is a plus. Strong site leadership and communication skills are essential for managing contractors and consultants effectively.
