This role is for a Senior Mechanical Engineer focused on technical engineering services in Toronto, Canada. The company is looking for someone with deep expertise in HVAC architecture, including systems like DX, chillers, and CRAHs, to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and capacity of mission-critical data centers. You'll be responsible for developing and designing efficiency-focused construction initiatives to maximize sellable capacity. This involves guiding site teams on cooling system optimization, providing technical expertise to global and regional teams, and supporting greenfield construction projects. The position requires a strong understanding of mechanical and controls improvements, with knowledge of Sequences of Operation. You will also diagnose system failures, mentor junior team members, and act as an "Energy Champion" by driving key efficiency metrics. Familiarity with plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems is also expected.
