Job Description
The company is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This role is crucial for developing Canada's AI Network, a national initiative focused on building a secure, high-performance AI computing network. You will be responsible for designing and shaping the electrical backbone of advanced data centers that will support massive GPU clusters and critical AI workloads.
Your day-to-day will involve leading the design, review, and optimization of electrical systems for new data center constructions, expansions, and upgrades. This includes developing single-line diagrams, load calculations, and distribution plans, as well as evaluating and planning infrastructure like switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and redundancy configurations. You'll collaborate closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and external partners to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and compliance requirements.
