Job Description
This role is all about bringing mechanical building systems to life. You'll be designing and coordinating everything from HVAC to water services and drainage, making sure it's energy-efficient and meets all the necessary regulations. The goal is to create clear technical documentation and 3D models that help site teams install complex systems smoothly.
You'll be working on designs that adhere to industry standards and aiming for a clash-free BIM environment. A key part of the job is delivering designs that contribute to sustainability goals, like Net Zero Carbon pathways, and ensuring technical accuracy in all calculations and sizing.
The day-to-day involves collaborating with specifications and client needs, meeting deadlines, and attending design meetings. You'll also be reviewing inputs from other disciplines, conducting site surveys, and preparing reports. Sourcing modern components and liaising with clients and external consultants will be part of your responsibilities.
