Job Description
The company is looking for an Associate Engineer-Electrical to join their team in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, India. This role involves hands-on experience with maintenance activities in a Steel Melting Shop, focusing on electrical power and control systems. You'll be working with Siemens S120 and G120 drives, as well as ABB VFDs like ACS 580, 800, and 850.
Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and breakdown analysis, providing technical guidance to maintenance staff, and strategizing maintenance plans. You'll also be involved in creating preventative maintenance procedures, planning routine maintenance, and managing spare parts to minimize downtime. A strong understanding of safety systems and procedures for electrical work is essential.
This position requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in an SMS plant. Experience with electrical systems in steel or metal plants is mandatory, along with a Supervisory license for HT/LT systems. Good coordination, communication, and reporting skills using PPT and Excel are also necessary.
