Job Description
The company is looking for an MEP Engineer with a focus on Facility Management in Lahore, Pakistan. This role involves overseeing a range of building systems including HVAC, VRF, cooling towers, BMS, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection. A key part of the job will be monitoring BMS and energy usage to boost efficiency and cut down on electricity consumption.
You'll be leading a team of MEP technicians and supervisors, as well as managing external contractors. Ensuring adherence to building codes, life-safety, and EHS standards is crucial. The position also requires implementing planned preventative maintenance schedules to enhance equipment reliability and extend asset life, alongside supporting budget management, audits, cost optimization, and handling emergency repairs.
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required, along with 7-10 years of experience in MEP operations, facilities management, or building services. Previous experience in commercial spaces, malls, hospitals, or large-scale facilities like hotels is preferred. Strong leadership, technical troubleshooting, vendor management, and a solid understanding of BMS, operational excellence, and energy efficiency are essential skills for this position.
