Job Description
The company is looking for a Project Engineer specializing in Battery Storage Planning and Implementation in Munich, Germany. This role involves creating system concepts for battery storage, including capacity, inverter power, and grid connection, based on project documentation. You'll also develop measurement concepts and billing logic, coordinate with grid operators, and handle site planning aspects like statics, ventilation, and fire protection.
Your responsibilities will extend to technical planning, including single-line diagrams and protection concepts, as well as preparing specifications, managing tenders, and technically evaluating components. You'll lead electrical installers and trades, ensuring the quality of construction, and oversee acceptance and commissioning processes. Managing multiple projects in parallel, focusing on deadlines, budget, quality, and safety, will be key.
The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering and at least five years of experience in planning and implementing electrical systems, particularly in battery storage, photovoltaics, and low/medium voltage. A proven track record of successfully realizing storage projects, with the ability to plan independently and coordinate across trades, is essential. Experience working with grid operators and a willingness to travel to project sites are also required.
If you're ready to shape the future of decentralized energy, this is your chance.
