Job Description
This role involves designing low-voltage telecommunications and ICT systems specifically for data centers. You'll be responsible for everything from the initial concept to detailed design, covering structured cabling, networks, security, fire alarm, and AV systems.
You'll prepare engineering drawings and specifications, review shop drawings, and coordinate with clients and other teams. Conducting site visits to ensure designs meet codes and client needs will also be part of your responsibilities. The company is looking for someone who can manage multiple projects and act as a subject-matter expert in telecom design.
To be successful, you'll need a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering or a related field, with over 10 years of experience designing ICT systems for mission-critical facilities. Proficiency in Revit/BIM and AutoCAD is essential, along with familiarity with relevant industry standards like BICSI and TIA/EIA.
