The company is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager - Associate to join their team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a great opportunity to work with a well-regarded engineering consulting firm that focuses on building systems design for various sectors like healthcare, institutional, and laboratory projects. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting senior engineers and project managers with the design of mechanical systems for both new construction and renovation projects. Your responsibilities will encompass HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design, performing load calculations, conducting site inspections, selecting appropriate systems, and managing construction administration.
To be successful, you should have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5-8 years of experience in building systems design. Proficiency in Revit MEP, HVAC, hydronic systems, and BIM coordination is essential, along with familiarity with software like HAP, E-Quest, IES, RETScreen, and relevant codes. Strong communication, organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit are also key.
