Job Description
The company is looking for an MEP Design Engineer to join their team in Cairo, Egypt. This role involves creating detailed MEP design drawings, calculations, and technical documents for various building services, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. You'll be responsible for coordinating these designs with other engineering disciplines and ensuring they meet project requirements, codes, and client specifications.
You will also prepare design reports, BOQs, and specifications, working closely with BIM/Revit teams to ensure clash-free models. This position requires a strong understanding of MEP design principles and building services, with the ability to support tender teams and review shop drawings.
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 1-15 years of experience in MEP design, ideally within a consultancy or design engineering firm, are essential.
