Job Description
This role is for a Project Engineer in Automation Technology, focusing on the design and implementation of automation solutions for water and process plants. You'll be involved in everything from developing automation concepts and selecting components to programming and commissioning systems, primarily within a Siemens environment.
You'll work on technically demanding projects for clients in high-tech industries like semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals. This involves coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, as well as supporting site commissioning and acceptance procedures, sometimes internationally.
The ideal candidate has a degree in electrical or automation engineering, or equivalent technical training, with experience in industrial or process plant automation. Familiarity with Siemens TIA Portal or PCS7 is a plus, as is experience in plant engineering or specific industries like water technology or pharmaceuticals. Good German and English skills are necessary, along with a willingness to travel occasionally.
