The company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This remote role involves providing expert input on mechanical design solutions using advanced CAD tools, evaluating engineering drawings for accuracy and manufacturability, and assessing design for manufacturability and tolerance analysis practices. You'll also contribute insights on engineering mechanics and geometric modeling challenges, review and enhance graphics and geometric modeling for assemblies, and offer guidance on best practices in manufacturing engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in production design with GD&T and DFM principles, proficiency in CAD platforms like SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX, and a solid understanding of tribology, engineering mechanics, and geometric dimensioning.
