This company is looking for a Design Engineer to join their team in Chinchwad, Maharashtra, India. The role involves supporting the design, prototyping, and commercialization of various centrifugal pump series, with a particular focus on canned motor pumps. You'll be responsible for creating product designs that meet stringent standards like API610 and API685, and you'll use UG NX for 3D modeling and creating manufacturing drawings. You'll also prepare detailed bills of materials in SAP and develop Quality Control/Assurance plans. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive product development, including aspects of costing and standardization. The ideal candidate will have a BE in Mechanical Engineering with 4-8 years of experience, or an M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 2-4 years of experience. You should have a solid understanding of centrifugal pumps, particularly canned motor pumps, and familiarity with standards such as API 610, API685, ASME, and HI. Proficiency in UG NX for 3D modeling and SAP for BOM preparation is essential, along with knowledge of material selection and manufacturing processes.
