The company is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to join their team remotely. This role involves managing multiple contract databases and tracking project costs, assisting with forecasting, billing, and revenue recognition. You'll coordinate with various stakeholders to complete tasks, perform cost savings analysis, and manage change orders. The position also requires developing and managing cost control systems, facilitating the work breakdown structure, and analyzing project data to create cost status presentations. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining project planning and scheduling, understanding construction terminology, and developing critical path logic networks. Analyzing schedule status, assessing the impact of changes, and reporting schedule updates to management and clients are key aspects of this role. Additionally, you'll implement Earned Value Management Systems, analyze cost and schedule performance indicators, and provide recommendations for corrective actions. A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, along with 3+ years of project controls experience, is required. Proficiency in project controls software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Power BI is essential. Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills are also necessary, as is a basic understanding of finance and the ability to work independently within a diverse team.
