This role is for a Structural Engineer to join a global engineering consultancy. You'll be working within a design team, focusing on structural analysis and design for both steel and reinforced concrete building structures. This involves developing conceptual and detailed designs, calculating loads, and ensuring structural integrity for new builds, renovations, and extensions. You will collaborate closely with architects and other engineering disciplines to align structural solutions with project goals. Advising on appropriate construction materials based on safety, cost, and environmental impact will also be part of your responsibilities. The company is looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience in structural design for buildings, proficiency in analysis software like Tekla Structural Designer or ETABS, and basic knowledge of BIM tools such as Revit and Navisworks.
