The company is looking for an Electrical VDC / BIM Coordinator in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is central to improving how projects are planned and executed, focusing on solving real installation challenges before they become costly field issues. It's a hands-on position aimed at improving construction methods, not just drafting.
You'll be building detailed electrical BIM models using Revit and Evolve MEP, creating installation-ready drawings, and supporting underground layout and planning. A key part of the job involves identifying and resolving clashes across trades, participating in coordination meetings, and partnering with Project Managers and Foremen to align on installation strategies. You'll also drive prefabrication opportunities to boost efficiency.
The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience in electrical BIM or VDC, strong Revit skills, and a solid understanding of electrical systems and installation. Experience with clash detection, multi-trade coordination, and creating installation-ready drawings is essential. Familiarity with Navisworks and Bluebeam, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills, will help you succeed in this collaborative environment.
